Meet Virsky soloist Denys Turchak! Denys is from Vinnytsia, Ukraine. He began dance training at the age of 7 and by age 9, he moved to Kyiv to enter the Virsky children’s dance school. In 2005, Denys joined the professional Virsky ensemble, and in 2010 he was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Ukraine. (He is one of the youngest people to have received this honour.) We are so pleased to welcome Denys back to Edmonton and to the cast of Clara’s Dream!
